Anyways, I did kind of like the idea of being given a name. I think that if that happened, it would be more important and not just some setup thing you HAVE to do to make your character. Although, the way they handle names will more then likely be the same as any other mmo, which is barely at all.

Specifically, I think Space Marines should receive a name. When your trials are over and you become a Neophyte you should receive a name in keeping with the traditions of the Chapter. This way we have some nice space marine names rather than Brother Beeftits... Players receive a name that will fit in with the Black Templar theme. Grimaldus, Dagun, Belarius, ect... If not I'm just gonna make the most obnoxious name possible...xXPh4C3r4P3RXx... or something the like

To be fair, while being given a name sounds cool it isn't something that is MMO practical.

Its just not a 'realistic' idea. Its not fun for players. I really can't see enough players wanting such a feature. :/

In fact, I still have to see an MMO do that.

The point being that a name is a very personal connection to your avatar. Having it picked for you, doesn't do much for that connection. Infact it takes away from it.
