What's your favorite army?

Note: This topic was only put in Space Marines because I had to actually choose an army.

What's your favorite army?

Because of the limited poll space I had to leave too many out so please specify in a post your favorite if you choose other. Also, please specify which Space Marine chapter if you vote that, custom is fine.

I always loved the Chaos marines personally just because of the VAST array of modelling and painting customization potential. Dont get me wrong, Imperial marines are awesome, but the codex limits their looks some. I guess my second favorite army is the Eldar. I took over a friends Harlequins once in one of my very first WH40K games and managed to decimate our opponents Terminator squad in close combat. I was hooked, lol.

My favorite army has, and always will be, the Necrons. They have the endless tide of warriors like orkz and tyranid, the firepower of a tau fire warrior or a space marine, AND they can come back to life!! I mean, how do you beat that?

Plus you actually can play the necron gods, the C'tan

all the other races use avatars of their power.

Space wolves; they're vikings
Black templars; Aaron dembski-Bowden's helsreach

My favorite is either Chaos or Orks, varies depending on mood.

Regarding Space Marine chapters my favorite chapter would have to be Black Templars or Space Wolves.

Lore wise IG... always... If I want to keep my enemies at a distance and laugh and mock them...Tau. Still basilisks are my fav. If I learned anything form Napoleon, its that artillery really matters...and to never charge Russia.

Space Marines, specifically Daemonhunters. Everyone says they're really overpriced point-wise, but nonetheless, Grey Knight Termies hit like trucks for sure. Not to mention they look incredibly badass.
