The only way I'd be "okay" with having a famous NPC battle is if they "got away". Ghazghkull Thraka could very well be the leader of the orks. He escaped, Dante, conversely one of the most bad ass dudes in the Imperium, why should a group of "nobody" Space Marines be able to kill him?
