An interesting Idea would be to make the epic quests orders from above. As in as you go through the quest you never have to enter a quest hub. In 40k it would seem more real for me if I was receiving my orders via command chant instead of face to face.

Very true.. if they make me run back and forth to a quest giver, like electricity hasn't been invented yet, I'll go apeshit... the running back and forth is just lame and it wastes our time.

In Warhammer Online, you break lore. In DMO 40k, lore breaks you.

It's an awesome tool for keeping track of your frienemies, smack talking, and general epeen swinging. All good things for a game with pvp.

Fist-bump

I've made more friends in MMOs by trash talking than any other activity, and all of them were amazing PvPers.

I tend to stay humble until I know I'm amazing, and then I devolve into a foul-mouthed ass hole who, against all odds, manages to have some good friends.

Trash talkers are generally good players, I've found, simply because they have more to lose. If they lose, everyone and their mother will make sure they know it, and wish something like a Book of Death, everyone will have proof. I support this suggestion!

Necro bump.

Maybe instead of basically creating a codex with all of the information that you find/actions done you could have a "codex" that has a decent amount of basic lore in it, as in it looks like a pdf of a book page and when you do something you could add it in like a side note on the edges of the page, so it immerses your character even more into the awesome being 40k lore is! Like a journal of sorts, because honestly, the thought of just any bumbling mmo player creating the codex is....

As with the Tome of Knowledge from WAR, most of the information in the Codex would be professionally written from the devs, the player would just find/unlock said information. User created codex content would only be accessible by that player, for example, placing notes on your personal map for future reference.
