I'm really hoping we see some amazing set pieces in this game, like fighting an enemy force for control of a Titan, and part of the reward being let loose for 5 minutes with everyone in the group manning a different weapon on the titan letting fire-power rain down from the God-Emperor's glorious creation!

But yeah, its gotta be a Space Hulk as at least one of the Raids :D

I also love PvP, but in all honesty for an MMO to be succesful it needs to addressed both PvE and PvP for hardcore and non hardcore gaming communities.

However, I am interrested to see if Vigil breaks the mold in DMO.

Man, I was very impressed with your ideas and suggestions, but I am dissapointed that you turned into Chaos. It brings tears to my eyes but I only have choice: :lol:

Really theres alot I'd like to see in DMO but here are 3 keynotes I'm plucking:

-Adaptive AI, because even orks have slight intelligence!
I'd like to see some intelligence and adaptive capability in AI given the situation:
Your eldar strike force just deployed a shuriken cannon platform at a gigantic hallway inside an ork fort, mowing the orks in a hail of fury, after taking casualties the orks try to flank, and start to throw as many stikkbombs as they can at it.

-Roles should have some importance, not removed!
Not to mention there should be limits on what classes can do. I don't want to see devastators tanking nor do I need that howling banshee offering her invaluable ranged support.
Some melee specialists should have the option of being able to tank, as I don't see kiting around that Squiggoth rely viable with ranged only troops. Also, have some sort of regeneration system so that if you can't find a healer, so you arent completely f***ed.

-Truly Epic encounters that make movies like Transformers look like another episode of dragonball Z!
Make bosses special, make them big nasty, give them some special rules, reinforcements, whatever floats your boat Vigil but for the love of god don't implement ANY "tank and spank" situations.

Good points all, I agree, with one minor exception on tank and spanks. The tank and spank does have its uses whenever you have multiple raids available at different levels as a 'ready check' for future content. In a multiple encounter type of situation sometimes its good to have a tank and spank in the middle levels of progression to make sure that your group/raid is advanced enough level/gear/spec/power wise. No, they are not exciting, but they can serve a purpose, plus in their own way they can be exciting when the raids up against the enrage timer, lol.

Really good points mate, i also think "tank and spank" situations should only be in dungeons and not in raids. When we start at low level it makes sense to fights be like "tank and spank" but if we get this tipe of situations in raids it only gets boring.
Of course like Malefactour says the situations with enrage are fun but i dont consider this a usual tank and spank situation, for me is just sit there clicking one button and wait for the boss to die because nothing will kill you xD.
