 Post subject: Ork Classes?

I was wondering if their is any speculation as to what classes would be available for orks. Right now I think the obvious ones would be Boy, Mek and Nob.

and weird boy they will need a physker to counter the tech priests oh or a pain boy for healing or lootas for the heavy weps cause i dont think ork boys save up enough teeth to get a deff gun or beamy defgun they would probly spend on more ammo and upgrades to make there sluggas and shootas even more louder

I'm hoping for Storm Boy myself. Nothing says insane like strapping a live rocket to your back.

Storm boys would be too hard to implement, however they could add in rocket packs as a means of transport like the Dwarf girocopter in WAR.

or maybe they could add it in the battlegrounds or something...I like the idea of shouting "death from above" as I destroy my enemies.

I don't see how it'll be hard to implement? Let's take a look at another, well known, MMO:

World of Warcraft has a class known as Druid. Druids gain both a Travel Form and a Flight Form, which means they are capable of becoming their own mount and flying mount. Recently they released the Worgen, which is a Race that can become their own mount as well.

If World of Warcraft can pull something like that off, then I don't see why making Storm Boyz playable would be any difficult. They'd be able to move a bit faster by 'hovering' along the ground, much like they do in Dawn of War, and can choose to leap/blast to a location a given distance away, also like they do in Dawn of War.

Wouldnt be hard to implement rockets/jump packs. Think ground targeted, long range "pounce" from the White Lion in WAR.

edit: on another note... how else would you add warp spiders without giving other races jump classes... and everyone knows eldar need warp spiders. How else would they close the distance without dieing?

I think the Classes will be broken up as basic as possible, I hope they make it so that you get bigger as you LVL, at lvl one your a boy(+ sub class) and you get bigger as you lvl :)
