So I have been thinking, and everyone thinks that Vigil will keep up this trend of one part of the whole, like just using Black Templar. We have extended this and tired to guess what one craft world, chaos legion, or Ork waaagh they would be bringing in as well.
Do you guys think that Vigil should limit the fight to just one from each faction? While it may help to make a solid story by one haveing one legion, waaagh, ect it would also be a loss not to include or at least have each represented in some small way.
The way I see black templar being used in DMO is like how they used Knights of the blazing sun from WAR. There were many orders of knights they could chose from, but they chose Kotbs because it would flow well with the class mechanic (command auras) since Kotbs are know for being military advisors. In the same way they chose BT to use lore to make our SM into a class that will fill one or two well defined rolls instead of being able to fill in any roll. Personally I like it. I know quite a few people who will not, but I do believe that SM need to be limited in what they can do.
To me this isn't that big of a deal tbh. One chapter, waaaagh or legion, or many of them.. as long as we get the large scale battlefields, as well as the small skirmishes.
But on the other hand, many chapters would present a deeper story and more options for the players, which is always welcome.
In the end though I imagine they'll go with just the one playable chapter etc. and maybe add NPC from others. Maybe in certain epic quest or raid. And I think they'll do this because it will save time and money.. if they were able to, I definitely think they'd add as many different chapters, legions, carftworlds, waaaagh's etc. as possible.
