I painted Empire when I joined the hobby. You painted the whole thing using the starting colours right? I did the exact same as you.


That game be expensive, man.

Well, AoBR doesn't come with starter paints. I've been painting using paints I bought from walmart for a little less than $2 a bottle.

Orks believe blue is lucky, so I figure if I paint my orks blue and use blue dice I may do better.

I really like your ork army so far!

One comment though, I think you should buy a slightly darker paint and wash everything that is exposed ork skin so that it can layer in the recesses and really bring out all of the small details in the arms, head and torso area! Also a Chaos/any black wash on the weapons might give it a dirtier "orker" look!

Looking good so far though! Love the random blotches of blue!
