This the highly specialized warriors of aspect shrines leaders of a certain group of warriors. So how do you think they will be implemented into DMO? My opinions are that they will either be where you learn new abilities or you could actually get a quest to be come one but once you become one you cant change class, but the advantage to be coming a Exarch would be better damage, more health, better Resilience and special abilities, maybe even special buffs for warriors of the same class. What do ya'll think?

I've been thinking of this in terms of career based mechanics vs. leveling. So lets say you start out as an Eldar Guardian, you can finish that career and then choose another advanced career such as seer or aspect, then once thats complete you could choose an ending career such as Exarch, Farseer, or Wraithkin. Some people like the idea of being able to always change their characters but certain ending jobs are permanent (Exarchs, Farseers, Wraithkin, even Dreadnoughts). Why not give the players an account unlock so that if they choose to take a character all the way to Exarch, they can roll up another character already at the aspect level instead of having to start from the very beginning.

since they stated you dont start off the bat as a space marine, it seems likely that you wont start as an exarch. Personally im opposed to class changing, exarch or not. stat boosts would be nice for exarchs, but i think it would make more sense to give a boost or ability in the department of the aspect, for example: melee damage boost for banshees, or perhaps a short sprint ability. reapers could have a sustained ability that increases damage with a reduction to speed, warpspiders could have decreased cooldown for teleport, fire dragons gain an ability for high vehicle damage shot, or a sustained where damage against vehicles in increased while damage against infantry is reduced, there are a lot of options. I'll be interested in what ranking system they have for the races, seeing as exarch is fairly low on the ladder, i envision it as a step above a leitenant, and since exarchs are only made when an old exarch dies seeing as the exarch requires the suit of armor, it would be hard to justify having the whole eldar server population being exarchs or farseers.

what do you mean roll up? are you saying you could copy your character, just have him under a different specialization?

Certain options for a given character would be un-reversible such as becoming a dreadnought or an Exarch. I'm saying that if you choose to start another character, on the same path as the first, you would benefit from having already unlocked the advanced careers up to the "point of no return" so that you could play your second character to explore other aspects if you like or possible move into the seer path or whatever, without having to go all the way back to the beginning.

i know that y they should ethier make the way to becoming a exarch EXTREMELY difficult and tidius so you wont get over crowded, also there should be draw backs to being an exarch like not being able to learn new things or be stuck to certain weapons and armor
