So, any favorites for the republican nominee? Does anyone care anymore?

It seems the media has some absolute insane bias against Ron Paul, even worse than last time. Anyone who the huge media companies have such a deep seated hatred for must be a pretty good guy. I can't really find anything wrong with his ideas, and at the very least he'll sweep out a lot of the corruption in politics.

I'm thinking Newt is more of a comedian than a politician. He's amazing on the responses, but nothing more. I'm also thinking his response here was a setup due to the host backing down like a scolded child. I would have been all over that response faster than he could say moon base.

Santorum and Romney (and Newt, really) change their tune every chance they get, and are both in favor of some of the more horrible policies, such as NDAA, Patriot Act, torture (or alternative extraction methods, as Romney called it), and constant warmongering. Does anyone still fall for the "you need protection from the terrorists!" angle? Ugh. More people die per year from hemorrhoids than terrorist attacks. :/

I think Glenn Beck would make an excellent candidate.
joking

On a serious note, I don't think I would mind another four years of Obama.

I'm so disgusted with the state of U.S. politics that I'm in favor of a "No Confidence" box on the ballot that would say to the electorate that I was so dissatisfied with the available candidates that they should scrap the results and start again with new candidates that don't drive me to want to go at them with a fucking claw hammer every time they open their gobs.

Where I live, politically, it is currently very difficult to pay attention to anything other than whats going on here.

Speaking of Ron Paul I have watched this though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QMXPgo47 ... ata_player

Pretty interesting because its what the MSM (main stream media) in the UK does to the Scottish Independance argument and the main Party that supports it.

There simply are no worthy candidates because those that are worthy lack the financial backing to run. Also, the media would tear any good candidates to pieces because they media is a weapon used by rich financial backers pushing their own agenda. Freedom my ass. This country is run by money which means the aristocracy controls everything. The only reason we don't have daily terrorist bombings is because the they don't know how pathetically easy it is to do.
