In a talk with Eurogamer marketing manager James McDermott said that Dark Millennium Online will contain some of the combat elements of their latest title Space Marine
He adds that Vigil Games, the developer currently working on the MMO, has also used elements of Space Marine as influence for their title.
“In terms of some of the core mechanics, they were looking at our combat system quite carefully at one point to see if they could try and make it – not the same – but just have some level of consistency. That’s definitely been a consideration.”

At least a combat system from an action game will make the grinding aspect more fun!
The combat system of Space Marine is very cool. If they are gonna use element of Space Marine the combat system should be the one!
If space marine represents a small portion of the overall game then I am happy.
Space Marine looks awesome and if it has a “Horde Mode” and “Space Hulk” mode as described in http://www.spacemarine.com is going to be an epic game 100%.
I just hope the CE of DMO comes more exiting than the crappy CE from Space Marine.
